Your Dad loves you for who you are and for what you have become, he is proud of you...everyone is!

I never thought I would want one. I still love the feel of a book in my hands. I got a paperback copy of Bel Canto yesterday and there was a sensual pleasure to holding the book in my hands and even the look of the paper gave me a little thrill. BUT I love the Kindle because I can carry around a practically unlimited amount of reading. I can check Wikipedia from anywhere. It has a built-in dictionary. And I can load reading for my grad program on their instead of printing it off and using a ream of paper every week.

I'm a convert I guess.

This is terrible. I just can't understand this. I've fostered rescued pits for years, and it just breaks my heart that people still don't understand that they can very often be saved.

Now I KNOW it's been too long since we've talked...I just saw this! I'm so sorry, I know how much you and the kids loved her. Funny, I was just telling someone yesterday about our trip to the coast with Shandy and how she just ran forever chasing shadows of the birds. Your new dog looks so sweet! And yes, pitbulls can be extremely wonderful pets -- I've know a couple and they're the best dogs. Loved the ex's comment about Rose. Typical.

I loved her mommy she was an amazing dog! I remember at the beach her fur would always turn brown because she would run in the water and her collar would rust! She loved being with her family and something about her was always happy! it was the -happy go lucky- lab attitude she had... as i looked at the pictures i remember the night when she got in the raft... that was also the same trip where she swam to shore to use the facilities ;) she will always be in my heart and i love knowing she is above me in doggy heaven barking at water to protect me!

I LOVE YOU SHANDY MILLER(wonder dog)

Dude! {Dudette?} YesYesYes!
CW's kat-herder here with minor details:
the trumpet doesn't really have a name
("trumpy" seems so, uh...well, yeah;
"Patty" is the BluesHawk given to Carolyn
by her friend, the exquisite Patrice Pike
(and she doesn't travel much anymore...
the guitar, not the exquisite Patrice!
- though she's been in your neck of the woods
before at High Sierra Music Fest, etc, and
you could see her on the PBS Austin City Limits performance, uh, the guitar, not... yeah...}
on "Long Way to Go" (co-written with Ray Benson)
from Carolyn Wonderland's new CD "Miss Understood";
and, oh yeah, it's "Carolyn" (not "Caroline") ...
ENJOY! Peace! ~ jc
